Product benefits

Ergonomic mobile phone design
The Dräger X-am 2000's low weight and practical mobile phone design provides users a high level of comfort and convenience. Thanks to the practical two-button operation and straightforward menu, the instrument can be used intuitively.
Poison-resistant ex sensor
For improved safety when facing unknown and potentially explosive hazards - the Dräger X-am 2000 provides dependable warnings in the event of explosive atmospheres thanks to the high level of sensitivity of the innovative catalytic Ex sensor. It not only responds quickly to explosive gases and combustible organic vapors, but is also highly resistant against sensor poisons such as silicone and hydrogen sulfide. The sensor's resistance, in combination with its long term stability, provides the sensor with a lifetime in excess of four years, which can help reduce your operational costs.
Long-life electrochemical sensors
DrägerSensors stand for innovative technology at the highest level, and offer an expected lifetime up to five years. The Dräger X-am 2000 features the latest series of powerful electrochemical DrägerSensors from the miniaturized XXS generation.
Robust and watertight
The Dräger X-am 2000 is water and dust resistant according to IP 67 standards. This means that the detector remains fully functional and ready for use even after being dropped into water. The integrated rubber protection and shock-proof sensors provide additional resistance to impact and vibration. Furthermore, the Dräger X-am 2000 is able to withstand electromagnetic interference.
Gas inlets on two surfaces
The functional design ensures that gas can enter the instrument from the top and the front, so even if the Dräger X-am 2000 is accidentally put in a jacket pocket, it should still provide a reliable warning against gas hazards.
External pump
An optional external pump with up to 30 meters (98 feet) of hose can be used as the solution for applications such as confined space entry into tanks, pipelines, etc. When the instrument is placed in the cradle, the pump automatically starts. The change between diffusion and pump operation can be quickly done without any need for additional tools or steps.
Optimum solutions for bump or function tests and calibration
Simple, fast and professional: from a function test to complete documentation, users have a range of practical solutions to choose from for total peace of mind. The Dräger E-Cal automatic test and calibration station and the Dräger Bump Test Station are ideal system accessories to the instrument, saving time and minimizing your workload.
