Safety & Rescue

Rescue stations

Have all protective measures been taken? Have instructions been given? Are tools and equipment reliable? Are the emergency measures known?

These points and the monitoring of the work are the responsibility of the supervisor. When working in confined spaces his task also includes securing the work area and the rescue of the workers if an accident occurs.
The supervisor monitors all of the operations with a gas detector. If there is any risk for the workers, the rescue station will take the protective equipment which has been pre-prepared, don the compressed air breathing apparatus and initiate the rescue.
